To help you have a pleasant experience at The Herb Centre please familiarise yourself with our policies :

Payments

Payment in full is due at the time of service. We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa or MasterCard.

Cancellations

Our clinic has a 24 hr cancellation policy. If you are unable to make it to your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice so we may offer the appointment to another client who may be waiting to see us. Without 24 hours’ notice, a charge of $75 will apply except in unforeseen circumstances.

Emails

As a courtesy, The Herb Centre Clinic provides email communications with our clinic staff and practitioners, which allows clients to send short emails, a limited number of times between visits. For non-urgent medically related questions, please limit email communications to clarifications of previously discussed issues. These should require a simple answer, such as “yes” or “no”. Please allow up to 3 business days for a response. Questions or requests that are related to administration, such as appointment scheduling or billing, should be directed to our reception staff. For more complex/urgent questions or requests, please call the clinic. Our staff will determine if your communication requires scheduling an appointment.

Lab/Test Results

Many of the laboratory tests our practitioner’s order are complex and are important to identify and diagnose conditions. For this reason, test results will only be discussed with your practitioner at an appointment. The results will not be available until you have the opportunity to discuss the findings with your practitioner.

Online Prescription Protocols

You can order an online repeat prescription for your Practitioner Only Natural Medicine ie, if you have had a herbal medicine formulated especially for you at The Herb Centre, you can use our convenient repeat prescription online order form on our Website to re-order. Note: If you have not seen your practitioner for over 6 months and need a repeat prescription, we may advise that you need to schedule a follow-up appointment to review your current health status first to ensure your prescription still meets your health needs. Standard dispensing requirements under the guidelines of practitioners’ practice and the Therapeutics Goods Act are followed. Confirmation of your repeat prescription and/or product order plus arrangement for collection method and payment details, will be emailed to you once we have received your online order. Returns

If your product is faulty we are happy to replace it or give you a credit for a replacement. No returns will be allowed for purchases greater than 7 days, items made especially for you (e.g. individualised herbal formulas), liquid/cream based herbal preparations, or other special orders.
